- Admissions and Referrals-

To help you get a better understanding of how to join our school, we have outlined the application process below. We know that it can be a difficult time to find the right specialist provision for your child – but we are here to help.

Our placements are local authority funded so your child will need to have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

If you have any queries, or would like to visit to have a look around the school before taking the next steps, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.  Our contact details can be found on our contact us page, alternatively to get in touch with us regarding admissions please use the contact form linked below:

Step 1

An annual review will need to be held by your child's mainstream school to request a change of provision. Once the annual review paperwork is sent into the Special Education Needs Assessment Team you will be allocated a case worker.

Step 2

If you are requesting a specialist provision of any kind your case will then be taken to Independent Specialist Placement Panel where a decision will be made of what type of setting is suitable for your child. If a specialist provision is agreed your case worker will consult schools, parental choice as well own Local Authority provisions.

Step 3

Once all of the consultations have been received the case worker will pass them to their service managers to review.

Step 4

After the service managers have review the consults and taken factors into consideration the information will be shared with the Head of SEND and the Assistant Director to be signed off.
