🌟 We're Hiring: Office Assistant – Independent Autism Specialist School 🌟
Location: Leicester, LE8 8AJ
💼 Full-time, (Monday – Friday) | Starting from £22k per year | Permanent
Start: August 26th, 2025, or when possible.
Lady Byron School is a small, supportive independent school for young people aged 10–17 with a diagnosis of Autism. We are currently seeking a friendly, organised and proactive Office Assistant to join our team and support the Office Manager with a range of day-to-day administrative tasks.
What You’ll Do:
🔹 Be the first point of contact for parents, visitors and stakeholders – acting as a key ambassador for the school
🔹 Maintain records, update the school calendar, and manage emails and enquiries
🔹 Support with attendance tracking and safeguarding communication
🔹 Assist in organising events, meetings, and training sessions
🔹 Help manage stock, supplies, and IT issues
🔹 Ensure efficient reception and office operations in a calm, supportive manner
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Professional, courteous manner with excellent attention to detail
- A team player who can handle sensitive information with discretion
- Previous admin experience (school environment is a plus)

Join our team this summer to support students during their AQA GCSE exams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise exams, ensuring rules are followed.
- Distribute and collect materials.
